Will hold a site visit at the Salem Harbor Power Station at 24 Fort Ave. on Thursday, July 11, 2013 at 4:30 p.m, prior to the Conservation Commission’s regularly scheduled meeting. The purpose of the site visit is to inspect the property of the proposed Power Plant Redevelopment, including demolition of the existing power station and associated structures, environmental remediation, and construction of a new power plant and appurtenances within an area subject to protection under the Wetlands Protection Act, MGL c.131§40 and Salem’s Wetlands Protection & Conservation Ordinance, c.50.
